18th Century Oak & Elm Dough bin
All the WOW factor here!
Despite a life of working hard, it has kept its stunning looks even after all this time! Just look at the depth in its grain - absolutely fabulous.
This little (not so little) beauty was used "back in the day" to store bread dough to proof. It is rich in history and colour and is a talking point in any home. Its also really practical for storage so it ticks a lot of boxes!
Although it shows signs of woodworm, these are long gone and with any item that comes my way, I have given it a jolly good soaking in worm killer.
The lid comes off completely as it's primitive "hinge" mechanism means it can be slid out of its holes if you wanted to show off its contents.
Length 47", width 18", height (including legs) 30.5. Height of main body/storage only 16".
Happy to pack it up if you wish to arrange a courier to collect (Can deliver for free within 20 miles of BS24)
